This attractive watch automatically adjusts to the correct time based on radio signals broadcast by the NIST’s atomic clock located in Boulder, CO. Serves as a reference for exact time in the lab or in the field. Displays standard or military time, date, weekday, time zone and confirmation of the atomic clock signal. Self adjusts for daylight savings time. Light (1.6 oz) yet sturdy this watch is comfortable to wear and water resistant. Features electro-luminescent backlight, stopwatch, alarm and manual time setting functions. The battery (included) lasts about 1 year with normal use and must be replaced by a watch technician to uphold the warranty.

I purchased one of these watches six years ago. It has never failed to indicate the correct time. That time is synchronized to the master clock in Boulder, Co. This I've personally checked via the internet. Also, I've only replaced the battery twice during that period. I use the time indicated on this watch as the standard by which I set all other clocks and watches in my home. I highly recommend it to anyone who desires excellent time keeping and quality.
